Committee of quality assurance

The International Professional Organization of Marcos-therapists and the Professional Training of Marcos-therapy both receive advise from the Committee of Quality Assurance regarding the quality care and the quality of the care.

The Committee of Quality Assurance

• has put together the Handbook Professional Training of Marcos-therapy and the Workbook Professional Training of Marcos-therapy, which include treatment protocols, to support the education of Marcos-therapy;
• has collected requirement documents (the professional profile, the educational profile, several quality demands) in the Handbook Quality Assurance Marcos-therapy;
• is occupied with the execution and practise of the quality standars by members of the International Professional Organization of Marcos-therapy through the providing of information, organizing meetings and courses, organizing consultations between collegues, and carrying out inspections;
• aims at social recognition of the profession of Marcos-therapist through lectures, demonstrations, publications, workshops, and visiting physicians and specialists;
• aims at gaining a full-fledged position and a collaboration with the regular medical system (with the appropriate compensation by the medical insurance companies) by introducing and applying similar quality standards to the ones in the regular health system.
