How much does Marcos-therapy cost?
A treatment with a Marcos-therapist costs €62,50 per consultation. A counseling therapy treatment that involves both partners costs €95,-.

How long is a consultation?
A consultation takes an hour.

How often should I visit the Marcos-therapist?
The number of consultations depends on the problem that you asked help for. A Marcos-therapist can make an indication of the number of consultation he thinks he needs.

Is there a guideline?
With physical complaints you should be able to show a positive reaction within 3 to 6 consultations.

Is Marcos-therapy covered by insurence?
Until now there are two companies that cover Marcos-therapy: CZ and Fortis. The amount of compensation depends on your insurance-policy.

IBMT is negotiating for compensation of the treatment with medical insurance companies. Marcos-therapy meets the qualtiy standards that are set in order to be eligible for compensation.

Do I need a referral note to see a Marcos-therapist?
No, you do not need a referral note to see a Marcos-therapist. However, a Marcos-therapist prefers to work with the family doctor or specialist.

Is Marcos-therapy a form of acupuncture?
Marcos-therapy is not a form of acupuncture. There are acupuncturists who approach their clients from the principles of the Marcos-philosophy and accordingly treat them with acupuncture.

Is it useful to bring my partner to my consultation?
It is useful and advisable to bring the partner and to involve them in what you are doing. Learning how to deal with your humanity is always part of the ‘homework’ that is assigned by a Marcos-therapist. This humanity is expressed especially in the realtionship with the partner (and also with your children). It is good for a partner to hear what is being said to you first hand. It is even better when you are able to work on your proces together with your partner.
